MEA

MEA - A Measurement Module
The measurement module “MEA” is designed for the quick and easy programming of tactile measurement processes in the CAM environment of Siemens NX. The software provides processes for executing standard measurement tasks. In doing so, MEA is oriented towards standard measurement cycles of the Sinumerik 840D machine control.

Resilient

Resilient - Research on a multi-tool-based process planning software.

Through optimally applied manufacturing processes and components designed for lightweight construction, energy and resources can be saved during production and product usage.
In the industrial sector, this effect can be significantly enhanced by employing more efficient and resource-saving manufacturing routes. Together, this leads to a reduction in resource and energy demands, as well as emissions along the value chain.
Optimized slicing and path planning aspects are taken into account, enabling additive manufacturing (3D printing) of metallic lightweight components based on aluminum.

Skotty

Skotty - Smart, collaborative, multi-technology production systems for coating aircraft components.

In the collaborative project “Skotty,” a smart, collaborative, multi-technology production system for coating aircraft components was developed and validated in an industrial environment.
Based on specific application cases from the aerospace production industry, the focus was on sharp-edge coating processes for complex integral components with limited accessibility.
SWMS provides optimized production processes tailored to the manufacturing environment through its proprietary CAD/CAM system, CAESA, enabling the reliable integration of collaborative robots into a complex production setting.

Green AI-Hub - Inline AI solutions for 3D printing process.

The integration of inline AI solutions into the 3D printing process represents a significant advancement and competitive advantage, particularly in optimizing quality and resource conservation.
By detecting printing errors early, we can not only save material and energy but also significantly enhance the efficiency of our production processes.
Our collaboration with the "Green-AI Hub Mittelstand" enables us to further develop innovative approaches that benefit not only SWMS but also the entire SME sector.
