CAESA® Composites Suite

The main focus of the CAESA® Composites Suite is the automated and optimized generation of courses and laying programs for the effective use of Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) and Automated Tape Laying (ATL) technologies.

The different modules offer many possibilities for planning, visualization and analysis of the material storage. This can be done using existing CAD software, such as CATIA or NX, as well as independently in the CAESA® Composites Suite. The features and functionalities are independent of machine and machine manufacturer and can be tailored to the needs of the end user. This allows efficient and reliable NC programs for any AFP and ATL manufacturing systems to be generated quickly and conveniently.

CAESA® Composites Suite

Customized Coverage Generation

The Customized Coverage Generation (CCG) module additionally increases the quality of the placement process and that of the component. This is achieved by taking into account industrial, machine- and component-specific design requirements. This can be taken into account during the design phase:

Tailored Wave Laminate

The Tailored Wave Laminate (TWL) module allows the projection of strongly curved surface areas of the component to be demolded on the mold for material placement. This allows downstream forming processes to be taken into account and additionally improves component quality.

TapeStation

The use of the TapeStation (TS) module supports a continuous process chain and closes the gap between component design and production. The core functions of the TapeStation include:
